How Our Wedding Process Works

Our team of experienced southern Ontario DJs and Emcees is here to support you at every stage of the wedding planning process! From your initial consultation through to the last song of your reception, we work together with you to create the amazing event of your dreams!

Here’s how our wedding planning process works:

Getting Started

If you’re looking for a wedding DJ, or a DJ and an Emcee, the first step is to book a consultation! During this call we’ll chat about your unique wedding vision and music taste, the services you’re looking for, and which package would be right for you. We’ll also answer any questions you have, so that you can make the best decision for your event.

When you decide to move forward with us, you’ll receive a wedding agreement to review. An initial deposit is required to secure your booking, and the remaining balance is due 10 days before your wedding day.

Plan Your Wedding Music

When you reserve our services, you will also receive a link to a planning website. Through this website, you will select all of the songs for the important parts of your wedding day, like your first dances and your ceremony music. There are also forms to add a timeline and music requests for the dance floor.

Don’t worry! This planning website is very user friendly, and walks you through all the different parts of the day, so that your DJ and Emcee has all of the information they need to create unforgettable music moments. Our team is also here at any time to answer your questions.

Checking In

Between the time you reserve our services and your wedding day, we check in with you regularly! We like to keep in touch to make sure that your planning is going well. We’ll answer any questions that come up, and provide support if you’re struggling with the planning website or any other part of the planning process.

If you would rather discuss questions or concerns via a phone or video chat, you’re also welcome to book a call at any time with our Client Care Specialist.

Finalizing the Details

About 2-4 weeks before your wedding day, you will have a final planning meeting with our Client Care Specialist. During this call, we will go through your entire planning website together, discuss the unique details of your wedding day, and make sure that we have all of the information and music your DJ is going to need.

If you have specific questions for your DJ or Emcee, or you’d like to meet them prior to your wedding day, let us know! We can invite them to join your final planning meeting as well.

Your access to your planning website ends 10 days before your wedding day. Our goal is that you can relax during the week of your wedding knowing all of the details are finalized and taken care of!

The Week of Your Wedding

After your final planning meeting, we work behind the scenes to make sure that we have all of your music requests. Our Client Care Specialist also puts together a detailed information package for your DJ/Emcee so that they can prepare for every part of your special day.

On your wedding day, your DJ/Emcee will typically arrive 1-1.5 hours before they begin playing music. If they need to set up in multiple rooms or locations, they will do all of the setups before their start time, so there is no pause in the music or moving equipment around during your event.

After that, just relax and enjoy the day! Your DJ will take care of the music throughout your wedding so that you and your guests can have a great time and dance the night away!

We welcome our couples to reach out to us after the event and let us know how everything went. We love to hear every detail of your amazing day and to see photos if you choose to share them!
